Si usas levadura seca, disu\u00e9lvela en el agua tibia con una pizca de az\u00facar y deja reposar unos 10 minutos hasta que se active (deber\u00edas ver burbujas en la superficie).<br>2. Si usas levadura fresca, disu\u00e9lvela directamente en el agua tibia sin necesidad de az\u00facar.<br>3. En un bol grande, mezcla la harina y la sal.<br>4. Agrega el agua con levadura (o la mezcla de levadura fresca) y mezcla hasta formar una masa pegajosa.<br>5. Si deseas, a\u00f1ade el aceite o la mantequilla en este paso.<br>6. Coloca la masa sobre una superficie limpia y amasa durante unos 10 minutos, hasta que est\u00e9 suave y el\u00e1stica.<br>7. Si la masa est\u00e1 muy pegajosa, a\u00f1ade un poco m\u00e1s de harina, pero con moderaci\u00f3n.<br>8. Forma una bola con la masa y col\u00f3cala en un bol enharinado.<br>9. C\u00fabrela con un pa\u00f1o limpio y h\u00famedo o con pl\u00e1stico, y deja reposar durante 1 a 2 horas en un lugar c\u00e1lido hasta que doble su tama\u00f1o.<br>10. Voltea la masa sobre la superficie de trabajo y divide en 2 o 3 partes, dependiendo del tama\u00f1o que quieras para las baguettes.<br>11. Estira cada trozo de masa en un rect\u00e1ngulo alargado, luego enrolla desde los extremos hacia el centro, sellando los bordes.<br>12. Haz unos cortes diagonales en la parte superior de cada barra con un cuchillo afilado.<br>13. Coloca las baguettes formadas sobre una bandeja para hornear enharinada o cubierta con papel de hornear.<br>14. Deja reposar durante unos 30-45 minutos m\u00e1s para que suban.<br>15. Precalienta el horno a 220\u00b0C (200\u00b0C si es con ventilador).<br>16. Si tienes un recipiente resistente al calor, col\u00f3calo en la parte inferior del horno con agua para generar vapor (esto ayudar\u00e1 a que el pan tenga una corteza crujiente).<br>17. Hornea las baguettes durante unos 20-25 minutos o hasta que est\u00e9n doradas y hagan un sonido hueco cuando se golpeen ligeramente por debajo.<br>18.
