El Migliaccio napolitano tiene or\u00edgenes antiguos ligados a la tradici\u00f3n rural. Es una receta cl\u00e1sica que se sirve durante la temporada de Carnaval (Carnevale), que incluye Mardi Gras. Estas fiestas son un presagio de la Cuaresma, una \u00e9poca en la que los cat\u00f3licos tradicionalmente comen menos carne y alimentos grasos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La palabra italiana &#8220;migliaccio&#8221; significa &#8220;pud\u00edn&#8221; en alem\u00e1n, ya que el pastel es cremoso y h\u00famedo por dentro. De hecho, se trata de un bizcocho con una consistencia entre una tarta de queso americana y un pud\u00edn espeso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El migliaccio se elabora con unos pocos ingredientes sencillos, como s\u00e9mola y queso ricotta. Adem\u00e1s de los tradicionales bomboloni y chiacchiere, puedes disfrutar del migliaccio napolitano durante la temporada de carnaval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Originalmente el ingrediente b\u00e1sico era el mijo (en italiano \u201cmigilo\u201d), grano del que se obten\u00eda la harina con la que se preparaba esta especialidad, de ah\u00ed el nombre \u201cmigliaccio\u201d. El mijo se mezclaba con az\u00facar y sangre de cerdo, pero hoy en d\u00eda se utiliza s\u00e9mola.
