Es opcional, pero en mi opini\u00f3n, \u00a1imprescindible para esta receta!<br>\u00bfCu\u00e1l es el mejor pan para tostadas francesas?<br>Las tostadas francesas, o pain perdu en franc\u00e9s, \u00a1se conocen desde hace much\u00edsimo tiempo! Se suelen hacer con pan del d\u00eda anterior o con pan que de otro modo tirar\u00edas. \u00a1El tipo de pan que uses marca una gran diferencia! Me encanta usar pan franc\u00e9s o brioche. El brioche es un pan muy rico y mantecoso, perfecto para esta receta. Opta por pan brioche ya rebanado para que sea s\u00faper f\u00e1cil. Si no viene rebanado, c\u00f3rtalo en rebanadas de 1,25 cm de grosor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">C\u00f3mo hacer tostadas francesas de brioche<br>\u00a1Estas deliciosas tostadas francesas son facil\u00edsimas de preparar! As\u00ed se hacen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prepare the bread. If needed, slice the bread ahead of time.<br>The Custard: Moving on to the custard, which is made with a few simple ingredients like eggs, whole milk and sugar. You don\u2019t need to have the ingredients at room temperature \u2013 straight from the fridge works here! I also add ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, vanilla extract and maple syrup extract to add even more flavor! If you don\u2019t have maple extract, just add a few tablespoons of maple syrup to the custard. I recommend using whole milk for this recipe to get the most flavor \u2013 the added fat makes a big difference! Make sure to soak the bread slices very well! I keep my bread submerged for at least 10 seconds because I really don\u2019t like dry French toast!<br>Cooking the Toast: Next, time to fry that toast! You can use a stainless steel pan, non-stick pan, pancake griddle or even a cast iron pan! If you\u2019re making the toast for a crowd, heat 2 pans to speed up the process. What\u2019s important is the butter! I fry my French toast in batches of 3 slices with at least 1 1\/2 to 2 tablespoons. The butter adds so much incredible flavor! Cook the pain perdu low and slow, allowing the sugar to caramelize and create that signature look.<br>Serve it hot! I like to serve my toast right away while it\u2019s still warm and fresh!<br>French Toast Toppings<br>Making the toast is only part of process and this breakfast recipe wouldn\u2019t be complete without some delicious toppings! I like to serve my toast with plenty of toppings like fresh berries, bourbon-aged maple syrup, a dusting of confectioner\u2019s sugar and of course, whipped cream! You can make your own whipped cream or just use the canned variety. Here\u2019s a super simple recipe for whipped cream that I always use:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Combine 1 cup chilled heavy cream with 1\/3 cup confectioner\u2019s or powdered sugar, along with 1\/2 teaspoon vanilla extract and just a tiny pinch of salt.
