Carnival Chiacchiere: the recipe to have them fragrant and crunchy

Ingredients:
500 g of cake flour
8 g of baking powder
1 g of salt
10 g of lemon zest
1 g of vanilla extract
50 g of butter
3 whole eggs
1 yolk
30 g of liqueur
10 g of milk
Peanut oil for frying

Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
  2. Also add the vanilla extract and the grated lemon zest.
  3. Break the butter into pieces with your hands and add it to the powders.
  4. Finally, add the eggs and knead with your hands.
  5. Add the milk, then form a loaf and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll them out until you get a thin sheet.
  7. Use a pizza cutter to make strips.
  8. After letting them rest for 10 minutes, fry them in plenty of boiling oil until golden brown.
